Boston Events, Classes & Demos!

It’s been nearly 10 months since I started this little plant-based endeavor.

A year ago, I was still sitting behind a desk at an office for 40+ hours a week, and dreaming about cooking full-time. And last May, I finally took that leap and left the corporate world behind and started this plant-based personal chef business.

I’m still in awe of how far I’ve come. How much I’ve grown both professionally and personally. All the incredibly amazing people I’ve met, connected with and worked with on this journey and the wonderful support from new friends. The feedback and energy revolving around the blog, the cooking and the classes has been more than overwhelming and I am constantly counting my blessings for all the beautiful things this business has given me.

It hasn’t all been pretty. My kitchen is constantly in shambles. I moved to a smaller cooking space, I left a six year relationship, I spent more money than I was making to get the business up and running. I’ve cried over finances and taxes, stayed up all night freaking out about whether or not my classes the next day would be successful and have had more treacherous food deliveries in blizzards than I would ever care to count.

But not for a second, have I regretted what I’m doing. All the “negative” things have eventually turned out to be positive. Everything is a learning experience and I am better for all of it. In retrospect, the worst scenarios have helped me grow the most.

And as I approach a year of dedicating myself to The Vegan Pact, I find myself busier than ever, collaborating with some old friends and getting started with some new faces. Here’s a rundown of where you can join us for some plant-based cooking around the Boston area through April, May and June! And don’t forget to check out our NEW Plant-Based Power Program here
