UrthBox Review

I love me a good monthly vegan subscription box.

It seems like there are hundreds out there now, but I don’t think I’ve ever received one with so many organic vegan treats for such an awesome price as UrthBox.

You choose your own specific dietary box, what size you want (the bigger you buy, the more you save) and how frequently you want shipments. I was overwhelmed with the items in my first box and probably consumed half of them my first day returning from vacation and coming home to an empty pantry.

There was great variety amongst the delicious items including spiced popcorns, salt or savory bars, dried fruits, dried seed bark, chocolate covered rice cakes, lemonade juice boxes and, randomly, flushable wipes!

One of my FAVORITE parts of UrthBox is that you can gain credits to your next box purchase via social media posts. Free vegan goodies for posting on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook?! My dream come true.

Below, I’ve reviewed and linked up my favorite UrthBox items. The absolute best items for July’s box were the Mixed Seed Coconut Chips from Inno Specialties, the Banana Coconut Fruit Snack from Matt’s Munchies, chocolate-covered rice cakes from Element Snacks and the zero-sugar lemonade from Leaf & Love. Though most of the items don’t specifically say that all the items are GMO-free or organic, the UrthBox site assures me that they all are! Yay!

These Paleo Life bars were SO awesome and extremely filling! High protein, high fiber, made from nuts, seeds and coconut oil, and that’s about it. I love a good, clean protein bar, as we all know 🙂

Solar dried, organic fruits from Sol Simple were also a top pick for me. With zero added sugar (most dried fruits are LOADED with extra sugar) they were so yummy, but not overly sweet-just how I like them!

The best, best, best product in this box was from Matt’s Munchies! I love dehydrated fruit leathers, but never take them time to make my own anymore. The flavor was incredible and I ate the whole batch in one sitting, even though each patch is equivalent to one full serving of fruit. I shared this with my friends during the Taylor Swift concert and they were literally fighting over it.

Though full of healthy ingredients, these savory bars from Sheffa were not my favorite. They were full of healthy ingredients, I just think that I’m so used to having a sweet bar, rather than a salty/savory one.

Another top product was these super coconutty seed and coconut chip mix from Inno Foods. I’m pretty sure I ate the entire bag before bed one night and I didn’t feel the least bit guilty about it. These are the perfect on-the-go snack loaded with lots of chia seeds.

These Nourish Snacks were so cute! Though I would have preferred one of their sweet items over another savory one, these roasted corn snacks were really good and I loved them ontop of my salads that week.

I ONLY eat organic, non-GMO popcorn, so I really appreciate the fact that that’s the only kind Spiced & Infused supplies. They have lots of other delicious sounding flavors, which I probably would have preferred over this curry/turmeric version. My friend is a curry fanatic and LOVED it though, so this was just a matter of personal preference.

I also REALLY enjoyed Roo Bar. Made with only dates, almonds, chia and hemp, they squeezed all my favorite ingredients into one little bar. And of course, extra points for adorable packaging.

And for someone who doesn’t even like lemonade, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved Leaf & Love zero-sugar juice boxes. Super refreshing and really crisp, I could use a case of these for the rest of the pool season.
