SeaSnax Seaweeds

Seaweed…some people either love it or hate it.

I’ve always been on the love side. And if you try some of the unique and delicious products from SeaSnax, I’m willing to bet you’ll also be on team “I love seaweed” as well!

They’ve got a tasty assortment of everything from roasted seaweed snacks, salty nori sheets, crunchy seaweed chips in incredible flavors and SeaVegi salad mixes. They’re a HUGE nutrient boost for any meal, adding things like iodine, calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron, zinc and selenium with just a little sprinkle of any of their products. All their options are sustainable sourced, organic and downright addictive.

I’ve really been digging sushi, rice noodle or tofu veggie bowls as of late, and SeaSnax nori are essential part of that equation. My favorite combo recently is roasted tamari tofu, raw veggies, rice noodles and seaweed strips. SO GOOD! I’m used to just plain nori, so I’ve just been using that, but I’ve got lots of ideas in store for their chipotle, toasty onion and wasabi variations, as well.

For the most part, I’ve been using their seaweed snacks as literal snacks-both just for in between meals and as a good option for hikes, as I’ve found that having large doses of sodium for longer hikes really helps me feel in my best shape. Their crunchy Chomperz snacks, seemed a little weird to me at first glance, but the flavors are actually awesome and I’ve also been using them, crumbled up, almost like a healthier breadcrumb substitute. They come in flavors like plain, jalapeno and onion, although the barbecue was by FAR my preferred choice. Their roasted seaweed snacks are also great, and I found the lime flavor especially delicious.

The SeaVegi salad mix made for a superrrr healthy dinner, when I served it over an edamame quinoa dish I made. I love all the different textures of the various forms of seaweed and agar noodles and it made for a perfect, filling dish. All you have to do is soak the package and voila! Healthy made easy.
