Rollin Greens Review

I may be a little biased on this one, because the wonderful creators of Rollin Greens, are my neighbors.

Only I would be blessed enough to live next door to the geniuses who crafted these vegan, gluten-free millet tots and crispy cauliflower wings. I’ve loved their products since I first came to Boulder, as their millet tots were an optional sub in for fries at our Whole Foods Beyond Meat bar that I ALWAYS opted for.

They recently gifted my roommate and I with a big ol’ bag of tots, that one of us bakes up at least three times a week. They’re perfectly crunchy, crispy and savory and a blank slate for whatever sauce you want to pair them with. My roommate is pretty classic and goes for ketchup or vegan ranch, but I like to spice it up and smother them with buffalo or BBQ sauce. I’ve been known to devour a full tray as an entire dinner and I have no issues in doing so frequently. Their three flavors include Sea Salt & Onion, Basil & Garlic or Sweet Potato and Poblano Chili. They’re all composed of super clean ingredients, most just organic millet, veggies and spices and nothing else. They also bake in under 15 minutes which makes them insanely easy to prep, whether it’s a late night snack or a dinner accompaniment. I’ve started topping my soup with them as a sort of crouton replacement, and also just subbing them in any recipe where I usually use potatoes or fries. Like smothering them in my mac and cheese sauce and covering them with chili 🙂

Not to be limited by just tots though, they also created the easy-to-make crispy cauliflower wings that actually taste better then the homemade version I make. And all you gotta do is bake them which is infinitely easier than the whole chopping, dipping and dredging I normally have to do with the from-scratch version. And again their ingredients are so minimal, they’re actually healthier than mine! Each batch comes with a dipping sauce, even though most of the time, I (again) end up dosing them with buffalo or BBQ sauce and then adding to soup or salad. SO YUM.
