Renegade Foods Smoked Meats Review

I don’t know how or when charcuterie boards became such a thing recently, but I feel like it’s super hard to round out a vegan board. Sure you can find some killer non-dairy cheeses these days, and you can just fill the board with fruits, nuts, olives, breads and crackers.

But come on. For it to really get the full charcuterie vibe, you need those meats.

And I’d be hard pressed to find anything better than the slow-smoked plant-based salamis from Renegade Foods.

A perfect wine/cheese accompaniment, an amazing pizza topper and the ULTIMATE plant-based charcuterie addition, Renegade meats are delicious, with perfect faux meat texture and bursting with spicy and smoked flavors. Whether it’s their Smoky Soppressata, Sweet Toscana or Spicy Chorizo, there is no wrong choice!

I kept buying rounds of artisan Miyoko’s cheese wheels just so I could scoop these salamis into them all day long. I even chopped them up for tacos. And I was thrilled to have an excuse to get a little fancy and make boards for parties and even set one up on a hike! Vegans and non-vegans alike we totally impressed with every offering and I can’t wait to keep hosting parties and feel like a true grown-up with all these fancy charcuterie boards featuring Renegade 🙂
