Plant Pub

If you live in the Boston area and have been manifesting some new, incredible vegan options in the city, you’re finally getting your wish.

Say hello to Plant Pub.

Not only is this spot home to tons of incredible plant-based entrees, but they’re also offering some absolutely amazing beer options. I don’t know about you, but most vegan restaurants I’ve been to either:

A: Don’t even offer alcohol or,

B: Have sad beer or wine options, with an extremely limited drink menu

Plant Pub is THE spot for massive burgers and chickn sandwiches, loaded pizzas, decadent desserts and all your favorite craft brews. With some of my favorites like Boochcraft and local stars like Widowmaker Brewing and Vitamin Sea Brewing. Because truly, nothing makes me happier than enjoying some kick-ass loaded pizza alongside some hazy IPA’s on an outdoor patio in the city.

I HIGHLY recommend the buffalo chickn sandwich, because if you know me, you know I can almost NEVER resist anything buffalo chickn-esque. The queso fries are also a winner. But my favorite bite here-and I can’t believe I’m saying this-is the cauliflower. Which is downright shocking, because what vegan hasn’t had mediocre, over-fried buffalo or BBQ cauliflower option at every run-of-the-mill restaurant?

This Plant Pub Koren BBQ cauliflower is on another level though. It was perfectly fried, but not overly greasy, and the sauce was absolute heaven. Unlike any other fried cauli I’ve had in my life and I couldn’t gobble it up fast enough.

The staff here is so amazing and they were beyond friendly and enthusiastic about both the food and the beer. The gorgeous outdoor patio space in the heart of Kendall Square make it optimal for summer eats and bevs. Make sure to stop by soon and tell them I sent you! And be on the lookout for the new spot opening at the old Boston Beer Works in Fenway in a couple of weeks 🙂
