From one giveaway…and onto the next!
And I love that BOTH of these giveaways are my from my absolute favorite vegan companies.
It is no secret that I am obsessed with Daiya. Like, really, really, really OBSESSED. And for good reason. It’s really the only non-dairy cheese I’ve found and loved and almost every vegan restaurant I’ve been to, uses this brand as well. It’s consistency, flavor and melt-ability make it superior to all other vegan cheeses and I honestly don’t know how I would have fared in my transition into veganism without it. Seriously. It is THAT good. And it’s soy and GMO-free which makes me ridiculously happy.
And the only thing better than Daiya cheese?
Daiya PIZZA.
Died. And. Gone. To. Vegan. Heaven.
I tried for WEEKS (yes, that’s right, WEEKS) to hunt down this elusive frozen pizza. It’s only in select stores so you may have to do some research to find it, but it is well worth the trip. I had zero luck finding their cream cheese, which I hear is equally amazing. For those of you NOT in the Boston area, you may have better luck than me finding some at your local Whole Foods.
When I finally found a fire-roasted veggie version of the frozen vegan pizza, I almost hugged the man stocking them at the Whole Foods a few miles away. I rushed home and immediately threw it in the oven. I’m not kidding when I say it was a mini Christmas Eve in my kitchen waiting for this pizza to cook.
It’s smaller than most frozen pizzas I’ve had in my life, which was actually a blessing, because I didn’t feel guilty about inhaling the entire thing in one sitting (the whole thing is only 700 calories for those of you who worry about that). The crust was very thin, but not dry or crusty and it was loaded with a whole mess of ORGANIC vegetables, spices and garlic. The cheese tasted even MORE like the real thing then it does when I use it myself which was an added bonus. And although I was full when I finished it, it didn’t leave me with a heavy, sagging feeling which I generally get after eating any pizza.
I am truly in love with this pizza, and all things Daiya for that matter. My hope is for all of you to try their products…and that’s why we’re having ANOTHER great giveaway for a voucher for you to try ANY Daiya item you can find-just enter below!
