Bear Pond Farm Pesto Review

I know, I know. You’ve probably got pesto coming out of your ears, with all the basil that’s growing around Boston right about now. 

And forgive me for saying this, but fall IS just around the corner (eye roll). And when your homemade basil supply has run out, you’ve GOT to get your hands on some of this amazing, superrrrr green pesto from Bear Pond Farm. Because where else have you seen organic arugula, kale, olives, pumpkin seeds, garlic and basil all into one pesto?! 

It’s power-packed full of the healthiest ingredients and is even more packed with flavor. Most vegan pestos will add nutritional yeast to sub for cheese, but you don’t even miss it here! I was really impressed with the hearty texture, since most of my pestos come out overly pureed. It held up well with pasta, on sandwiches and in lasagna. I even just had it on toast one day-and then added some nutritional yeast 😉
