I took the average, white flour and sugar filled pancakes I grew up with and packed them full of healthy ingredients to make for a heartier and more delicious breakfast!
1 ½ cup whole wheat flour
1 ¼ cup almond milk
1 egg
1 banana, sliced
4 strawberries, sliced
½ cup blueberries
¼ cup flaxseed
1 tbsp sugar
3 ½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
1 tbsp butter, for cooking
- Combine all ingredients, and melt butter over medium heat. Pour pancake batter onto frying pan and cook all the way through, about 3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown
