Margherita Pizza

1 batch whole wheat honey pizza dough

1 cup meatless Italian sauce 

6 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced

1 tomato, sliced

1/4 cup fresh basil leaves

Whole wheat flour for dusting

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Stretch out pizza dough onto baking sheet, using floour so it doesn’t stick
  • Evenly distribute sauce over pizza dough
  • Top sauce with a layer of basil, then a layer of tomato slices and finally top with mozzarella 
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minnutes or until cheese is bubbling and browning
