I’m running a five mile race Thursday morning and am struggling with what I should eat or drink before I head out. I’m not used to running that early in the morning, so it will be interesting to see if I can hold myself together the whole race. I’m thinking that this seasonal smoothie may be the perfect pre or post-run treat.
It’s super simple and I would suggest adding some banana for added creaminess and carbs, although this version is banana-free.
