But I promise, it’s way more fun to call this a peanut butter shake and makes it even that much more delicious.
This was a sweet Friday treat, and a good way to kick off the weekend. Although it tastes more like dessert, it’s still got a healthy spin to it and a higher protein content from the peanut butter and hemp. Lots of frozen bananas and raw cacao and dates make it perfectly sweet and oh so creamy!
(Makes two large glasses)
4 frozen bananas
1/3 cup dates
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup hemp seeds
2 tbsp raw cacao powder
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 cup water/almond milk, plus more if needed to reach desired consistency
- Blend everything together until smooth!
