Amazing avocados (and guacamole)

One of our top picks for the best-tasting, healthiest and overall, amazing fruit is….AVOCADOS!  It’s packed with good (yes, GOOD) fats, along with tons of other nutrients like folate, potassium, magnesium and vitamins K, C, B6 and E.  They’re known for preventing heart disease, lowering cholesterol, improving your hair and skin AND increasing libido ;).  And one of the yummiest ways we know to eat this superfruit, is to make guacamole.


5 avocados, pitted and peeled
1 red onion, minced
1 tomato, mined
¼ cup cilantro, minced
1 jalapeno pepper, minced
2 cayenne peppers, minced
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 lemon, juiced
1 lime, juiced
Salt and pepper to taste

  • Simply put all ingredients in a food processor OR use a potato masher to combine ingredients until thoroughly blended.
