Chocolate Chip Granola Bars

I am competely infatuated with these granola bars. Super easy, extremely cheap and quick to assemble, they are my latest go-to breakfast or snack. This has got to be one of the best recipes I adapted from Happy Herbivore.

2 cups organic rolled oats

1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce

1/4 cup raw honey

1/4 cup vegan chocoalte chips

1/4 cup wheat germ

1 tbsp brown or raw organic sugar

1 tsp pure vanilla or maple syrup

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Mix all ingredients together well
  • Spread mixture into a greased 8 X 8 pan and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes
