Summit Littleton

Brownie Batter. Orange Cinnabon. Jelly Donut. White Chocolate Reese’s.

These are all OBVIOUSLY sugar-laden, unhealthy, non-vegan ice cream flavors, right?

WRONG.

I know. It’s hard to believe. But Summit Littleton is overloaded with mind-blowingly delicious, high protein, good-for-you shakes, that TASTE like they’re going to give you diabetes, but are actually ideal for your health and well-being.

Minimally sweetened with just Stevia (and as someone who hates Stevia, I honestly didn’t taste it at all), these gorgeous, fun-flavored shakes are reminiscent of DQ Blizzards, but without all the garbage. Founder/owner Brittany Borseth knows the health game, and knows it well. She also knows virtually EVERY single customer who rolls through the door everyday, what their order is and what’s going on in their life. They’ve established a HUGE community in the neighborhood, and anyone doing any type of workout at nearby gyms seems to be a regular here. They organize group hikes. Host events in their chill space. Have great merch, great staff and above all else, GREAT teas, shakes and lots of healthy additions for their unique drinks.

Boba? Electrolyte enhancers? B-12 shots? Aloe vera shots? Anything you’ve ever imagined going into a health shake, I’m willing to bet Summit already has it covered. Their Herbalife protein powders are naturally vegan with a pea, quinoa and rice base. Some shakes can contain whey or other non-vegan additives, so just make sure to confirm when you pick your flavors!

Though I was completely overwhelmed by the dozens of decadent flavors, I ultimately landed on a PB + Jelly shake, because let’s be real, I can NEVER resist peanut butter anything. It tasted like a liquified, classic PB + J sandwich and I was over the moon. It didn’t give me a stomachache like alot of portein shakes do, and I was totally full and saitisfied after half the drink. The fun, B12 lava shot, surged through the shake and made it look like a bloodstream, which I thought was super cool.

I also indulged in a mega blackberry tea, which also had me more hydrated than I’ve ever been in my life. Considering the minimal amount of Stevia in this, it tasted incredibly sweet and thirst-quenching, and again, I was full after drinking just a third of it!

Their prices are insanely low given the large portions and considering how filling and healthy they are. Brittany is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met and she makes for such a welcoming environment with both old and new clients. They also have lots of volunteer opportunities and regularly give back to their community, most recently donating dozens of drinks to the teachers at Columbine High School.

I cannot recommend them enough, and it would take me days to rave about each and every drink, so PLEASE go show them some love and check them out for yourself!
