So Delicious Ice Cream Review & Giveaway!

I will NEVER bitch about the heat. I cannot stand the winter and love everything about the summer. Sure, the heat and humidity makes things a little uncomfortable from time to time, but I would never openly complain about the sweltering weather.

That being said…So Delicious definitely makes these insanely humid days ALOT more bearable.

My happiest days are the ones that end with me coming home to a So Delicious package on my doorstep. The cute packaging. The inevitable yummy treats tucked away inside. The vouchers for even MORE free product….I seriously love this brand.

If I’m not making my own peanut butter banana cream for most of my meals these days, then you can find me binging on any one of these SD desserts. Cookie Dough, Butter Pecan, Cookies & Cream and Vanilla Bean ice cream pints really hit the spot upon my return from the pool every day. Oh yeah, the fudge bars are amazeballs, too.

I have to appreciate that they’re made with organic coconuts and are now carrageenan-free. My tummy appreciates this more than you will ever know. As with any of their products, they were all so incredibly good it’s hard to decide which one I liked best. So I’ll resort to the proof in my freezer.

Clearly, the vanilla bean went the fastest. I don’t know what it is, but this flavor had, by far, the best texture. It was really rich and creamy and seemed to be more of a soft serve compared to the other variations. It wasn’t overly sweet and was truly perfect in my eyes.

The Cookies & Cream was runner-up. It’s flavor was dead-on and it was sweeter than the other three. But cookies in an ice cream? Of course it was gonna be the sweetest…and I am definitely NOT complaining about that.

The Cookie Dough was equally yummy and truly reminiscent of the non-vegan version. My brothers and I always used to suck the ice cream off the cookie dough bits and then eat them separately. Which I totally did with the SD variation. Are we the only weirdos who did that?

The Butter Pecan is good too, don’t get me wrong. I was never a fan of the flavor even when I did eat dairy, so it was no surprise that this was not my top pick. That didn’t stop me from gobbling up the whole thing for lunch one day.

Not pictured was the Mint flavor. OK, so I HATE mint (unless it’s in a mojito, of course). I don’t even like mint toothpaste. For real. SO I decided to be a nice vegan and share with Arikka, since she loves mint. She assured me it was delicious, and get herself quite the bellyache after eating it so quickly. I’m sure the fleeting stomach pain was well worth it, though.

And the fudge bars! How many times have I already said “yummy”, “delicious” and “amazeballs” in this post? Too many? Well, they all apply to the bars, so I won’t repeat myself again. But yeah. You’re gonna love them.
